within sun & moon playroom, i am a calm, intuitive guide through the inner and outer worlds of the subconscious and spiritual realms.
this is deep work done with consent and intentional noticing of your own somatic and intuitive cues that let us know what is a yes, a no, or a not yet. this is resistance to the mainstream lingo around hypnosis as a capitalist fast fix, a gentle dip into the depths of non-linear healing for the growth of your self and soul. this is a space where play, process and chaos is honored and witnessed with love, curiosity, grace and patience.
this looks like tending to tentacles of internalized & conditioned -isms, and using the symbolic languages of our spirits and subconscious to reveal how they motivate how we move in the world. this looks like getting clear on our spiritual boundaries, including which spirits we work with, which sources we access to refine our filters of conscience and consciousness, and increasing our capacities for receiving love & joy as much as criticism.
the sun illuminates as much as it burns. the moon and the shadows provide relief as much as they obscure. we play with both to lighten our hearts and spirits as we do the heavy work of uncovering and undoing generational harms. it is an honor to hold this space, and i welcome you to it.

i arrived at this work through decades of archetypal, painful underworld initiation. as my physical and mental health continued to decline in adulthood, resulting in deep isolation and bed-bound days, months, sometimes years, i pursued any and all accessible methods for healing and transformation. having been a vivid dreamer since childhood, i delved deeply into the symbology of my dreams and intuitive visual & somatic explorations of my bodymind as i rested. i explored ritual, the occult, and new age psychic development, and eventually studied hypnosis. my practices invited magic, relief, and the courage and curiosity enough to stay alive despite intense cycles of depression, disability and abuse.
however, i was deeply harmed by the ableism of my studies, often internally shaming myself for not being spiritually powerful enough to manifest an abled body. i also found that my psychic training had opened me to a world of spirits and ancestors not always aligned with my ethics and politics, which made me vulnerable to attachments, manipulation, and a tendency to look to others that i perceived as more spiritually adept for guidance, even when that guidance was counter to my own intuition and values. i gaslit myself to burn-out, crisis and confusion. i’ve learned by both fiercely following my intuition and foolishly ignoring it what a vital tool it is for survival.
since i’ve learned to make clear my spiritual boundaries, refined through enduring spiritual attacks and the deepening of my political, anti-carceral, anti-colonial education, the spirits and ancestors that have arrived to speak to me continue to revolutionize my thinking and feeling, aiding me in better aligning to my values and communities, and providing clear call-ins, healing and stern love when i act out of alignment.
my background and identities both complicate and clarify this work. i have lived my life as a bridge to many realms and lived experiences. i know well the often lonely process of peeling back the layers of subconscious conditioning and harm while surviving and attending to the trauma of the present. it is a joy for me to accompany others through this work and illuminate how playful of a process it can be despite its seriousness.

even US minimum wage is not enough to have much expendable income while corporate and real estate greed keeps housing and basic necessities absurdly priced. therapeutic support shouldn’t compromise your access to sources of sustenance and joy. this tier is also for clients who are financially comfortable / secure but of identities least protected by racial / eugenicist capitalism.

this is the standard “market rate” for hypnotherapy, mindbody and spiritual support services. if you are comfortably resourced and financially stable and of an identity most protected by racial / eugenicist capitalism, choose this tier.

choose this tier if you are comfortably resourced and financially stable enough to cover the cost of another client’s pro bono or lower cost tier sessions and of an identity most protected by racial / eugenicist capitalism. this is also supportive of the level of rest that mediumship and my dynamic disabilities require.
